Mon’s ’Overlapping and Merging Life’ on 10 Shin Hing Street in Central centers on the theme of the ephemeral beauty of transition. Inspired by the abundance of nature in Hong Kong and also in his hometown, the flora and fauna are perceived as a single, large organism through their interconnectedness within the natural environment, representing the fleeting yet beautiful nuances of the heart and a grand narrative, bringing the greenery of the countryside to the bustling Hollywood Road. This nature-themed mural connects the captivating green scenery of Hong Kong’s Great Outdoors that just a stone’s throw away, beloved by the city’s visitors from around the world.
