Angela Ho’s short animation utilises her pop surrealist and retro-style characters to focus on the importance and joy of social connection and interconnectedness.

Angela Ho (Ahoy Visual Art) creates digital animation, and art for exhibition and clients globally.

She believes in the power of art to inspire, delight, and enhance the experience of an environment. She is influenced by storytelling within popular culture to reflect societal concerns through the imaginative lenses of animation, fantasy and science fiction. Modes of communication on social media to express emotions and humor also inspire her work.

Commercial clients have included Adobe, The New York Times For Kids, Slurpee 7-Eleven, Vans, GQ, Fast Company magazine and Beat Bites amongst others. She was named one of Adobe’s Global Creators in 2021 and created the latest splash screen art for Adobe After Effects which was revealed at the Adobe MAX conference at Miami Beach in 2024.
